To support our Finance & Accounting Department in Aschheim (Munich)
we are looking for:
Accounting Assistant (GL Accountant) (m/f/d)
General mission and role
Your general mission will be supporting both the Senior Manager and
Manager Finance & Accounting in providing accurate, complete, reliable
accounting data that leads to high quality data for financial statements,
reporting and VAT-filings by processing of accounting data:
- Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closings e.g. preparinglist for and GLpostings of accruals also for foreign branches
- Organization of financial closing by preparing and conductingchecklists
- Reconciliation between accounting and sales software and ledgeraccounts
- Preparing monthly reports to Japan and answering relevant request
- Preparing and processing GL postings in an accurate and timelymanner
- Responsible compilation of specific reports e.g. monthly VAT-filings,ZM, Intrastat and other statistical reports in accurate and timelymanner
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Monthly posting of salary list
- Preparing, checking, collecting and saving evidence for JSOX-purposes
- Conducting analysis for ad-hoc-requests
- Processing requests and invoices in internal workflow tool
- Updating relevant process manuals
What you bring with you:
- Trained preferably as accountant/tax assistant or comparableeducation
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting department
- Knowledge and Experience in VAT-filings and regularly announcementslike ZM and Intrastat and should be proactive in handling thoseaccounting and VAT-tasks
- Reliable, detail-oriented, accurate, analytical, well organized,autonomous, entrepreneurialthinking and solution-oriented
- Flexible with regards to helping the team (team player)
- Demonstrates trustworthiness, honesty, and integrity
- Takes the initiative, is forward thinking and "hands on"
- Open-mindset and positive attitude
- Committed to keep internal and external deadlines
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Experience with ERP Systems, QAD experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of JSOX-regulations is a further plus
