Deine Aufgaben

• Implementierung und Optimierung neuer Features im Bereich AI-Chat und vergleichbaren Anwendungen sowie deren Konzeption vom Prototypen zur Überführung in den Regelbetrieb.
• Erweiterung der SaaS-Plattform hinsichtlich neuer Technologien innerhalb der Google Cloud Platform sowie im Bereich der AI.
• Evaluation und Finetuning von Modellen.
• Sparringspartner beim Pair Programming und Architekturentscheidungen.
• Erweiterung interner API-Schnittstellen, selbstständige Evaluation komplexer Aufgaben, sowie proaktive Erkundung neuer Technologien zur Systemoptimierung.

Dein Profil

• Studium der Informatik oder eine Ausbildung in Informatik mit passender Berufserfahrung.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Backend Developer (m/w/d).
• Fundierte Erfahrung mit objektorientierter und funktionaler Programmierung einer oder mehreren Backend-Sprachen, allen voran Node.js oder auch PHP.
• Verständnis für sichere Programmierpraktiken und Erfahrung mit Software- und Architekturmuster.
• Erfahrungen mit Containerisierung, CI/CD-Pipelines und gängigen Sprachmodellen und Anwendungsfällen von AI und Tools.
• Erfahrung mit Cloud Computing Plattformen, idealerweise GCP.
• Kenntnisse in Design, Pflege und Optimierung von Datenbanksystemen.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Your tasks

• Implementation and optimization of new features in the field of AI chat and similar applications, as well as their design for transition from prototype into regular operations.
• Extension of the existing the SaaS platform with new technologies within the Google Cloud Platform and in the AI field.
• Evaluate and fine-tune models.
• Act as a sparring partner in pair programming and architecture decisions.
• Expand internal API interfaces, independently evaluate complex tasks, and proactively explore new technologies for system optimization.

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a relevant IT qualification with appropriate professional experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer (m/f/d).
• In-depth experience with object-oriented and functional programming in one or more backend languages, particularly Node.js or PHP.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and experience with software and architectural patterns.
• Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and common language models, AI use cases, and tools.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, ideally GCP.
• Knowledge of designing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems.
• Excellent proficiency in German and English.
