EnopAI is an early-stage software startup, originating from Rudolf Hörmann GmbH & Co. KG. We have developed an innovative energy management software that optimizes complex energy systems in real-time. Using AI-driven optimization, our software leverages PV systems, battery storage, EVs, and CHP plants to cut energy costs and emissions. We support manufacturing and industrial clients in the energy transition.
Already in use at the Hörmann production site, our solution delivers proven stability and savings. We rely on cloud-based optimization, real-time forecasting, and digital twin technology to model and optimize energy systems.

Aufgaben

• Develop scalable systems: Design, implement, and optimize our backend services with a focus on performance, security, and scalability
• Solve complex problems: Analyze challenges and develop smart solutions that directly enhance the efficiency of our energy management system
• Optimize and refine architecture: Improve existing software modules and contribute to new feature development
• Work cross-functionally: We work as one team, taking ownership of the entire process from DevOps, BE/FE development and data scientists. Learn and grow with us.
• Ensure code quality: Maintain high code standards through testing, code reviews, and best practices

Profil

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in developing scalable backend systems, preferably with Python (Django/FastAPI)
• Knowledge of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL/InfluxDB), cloud technologies (Heroku/AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, ...), and related technologies is a plus
• Passion for clean code, automated testing, and performance optimization
• Motivation to work in a small, cross-functional team and proactively tackle challenges
• Ideally, an interest in energy management, sustainability, and optimization algorithms
