The Backoffice and Demand Management Specialist (f/m/d) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Business Development (BD) team by managing various administrative and support functions (backoffice) and assessing key performance indicators (KPIs) of sales and ongoing projects for optimizing business operations (demand management).

Deine Verantwortung

  • Support and maintain the process from quoting (interface to sales) to billing (interface to accounting & finance), as well as its interface management between the departments involvedReview of the orthographic correctness of the quotes created by the Business Development Team, within the structure and corporate identity of Coriolis
  • Post-calculation of the offer on the mathematical accuracy and completeness of the contents such as costs, timelines and validity, etc.
  • Systematic maintenance and storage of all related data within the BD file structure, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, and/or Project Management Software
  • Organization of signature process via digital electronic signature software
  • High-level setup of projects for execution in the Project Management Software with transfer of all relevant information (as from the CRM system and/or information and documents received by the Business Development Team)
  • Interface management: ensure that all stakeholders have access to the relevant information and/or documents for projects in execution (mainly Project Management Software)
  • Updating projects with BD-relevant information in case of projects adjustments (e.g., amendments, billing plans, purchase orders, etc.)
  • Organize and execute the regular (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly) reporting of Business Development KPIs and statisticsEnsure that the data in the used tools (e.g., CRM and Project Management Software) are up-to-date
  • Track and report performance metrics (i.e., KPIs) to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), including visualization of performance metrics into suitable graphs and preparation of PowerPoint slidesRevenue and sales performance KPIs
  • Client acquisition and conversion KPIs
  • Customer retention and satisfaction KPIs
  • Pipeline management and forecasting KPIs
  • Partnership and collaboration KPIs
  • Regulatory compliance and quality KPIs
  • Market penetration and competitive positioning KPIs
  • Evaluate and interpret available on-demand planning to the CCOAnalyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to predict future service demand
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to gather input on upcoming promotions, product launches, and market conditions that will influence demand
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts by leveraging statistical methods, software tools, and collaboration with key stakeholders (i.e., CCO and product and service manager)
  • Continually review and adjust forecasts based on changing trends, customer behavior, or unforeseen factors such as economic shifts
  • Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events (partnering's, exhibitions, fairs, etc.)
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material

Was Dich auszeichnet

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field - or a completed apprenticeship in this area.Further training in Data Analysis and/or Sales, or similar, preferred.
  • Professional Experience:Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or as a service provider, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong data analysis skills.
  • Experience with CRM and project management software.
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
