As Digital Workplace Chapter Head, you will lead a team of experienced IT architects in our value center and be responsible for all P&O related topics for that team
You are responsible for the continuous and individual development of your team, for a structured and transparent resource management, and for maximizing the business value of the services and projects in the organization
In your area of responsibility, you will drive our transformation towards collaborative and agile IT. This includes the promotion of digital leadership skills, working in self-organized and autonomous teams, strengthening the personal responsibility of each individual, and creating an environment characterized by trust, openness and willingness to learn & perform
All architects have the technical responsibility of their own service and report to their respective Service Group lead from a functional perspective. The lead architect is responsible for all technical-related topics in the organization
You will be responsible, together with the architects, for ensuring the high-quality provision of services across Siemens, as well as compliance with legal, regulatory, or compliance requirements
In your role as chapter lead, you support the service owners in managing their resources optimally by hiring both internal and external staff
You build and extend existing, new, and reliable relationships to our internal customers, as well as with our external partner and providers, as a foundation for high-performance end-user-oriented services
You ensure that the teams can deliver a high level of performance by creating the necessary framework conditions and being responsible for the underlying guidelines, methodology and quality assurance
You will support Service Owners in providing great user experience journeys for their services, focusing on customer centricity and developing digital advertising
You will contribute with your expertise to drive, together with the Service Owners, the commercial aspects of existing services (like change requests, financial negotiations) or to support the RFP processes to build new services
Use your skills to move the world forward.
You have successfully completed a university degree in Information Technology or a similar field
You have many years of experience in leading international / cross-functional teams
You are passionate about putting digitalization in place and by this enable business in leveraging Digital Capabilities
Furthermore, you bring passion for new solutions, a growth mindset and the curiosity to learn each day something new by following the market developments and market trends
You have excellent interpersonal skills and know how to convince teams, peers, as well as Senior and Executive Management; your convincing appearance makes you a desirable sparring partner on all management levels
You think strategically and future oriented
You are self-driven, intrinsically motivated, bring entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership for your work. You work pragmatically with a “can-do” attitude
Great communication skills are part of your skill set.You are a capable storyteller and can inspire Service Owners for a good storytelling
In addition to your native language, you speak and converse fluently in English
