Cloud Applications Developer/Engineer (AWS)

Your mission
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, serverless, and event-driven applications on AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for sports data and technology
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, Amazon Data Firehose, and Iceberg tables
- Develop GenAI applications leveraging LLM (Large Language Models) and Amazon Bedrock
- Implement and optimize Kafka-based event streaming using Amazon MSK
- Write clean, maintainable code in TypeScript and Python (Java is a plus)
- Use AWS CDK (TypeScript) and Terraform for infrastructure-as-code deployments
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of cloud applications
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline management, and Agile development processes
Your profile
- 3-5+ years of experience in cloud application development, preferably on AWS
- Strong expertise in serverless and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python (Java is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or Amazon MSK and Confluent Kafka for event streaming
- Familiarity with data processing tools like AWS Glue, Data Firehose, and Iceberg tables
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CDK and Terraform
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Github, or GitLab)
- Familiarity with GenAI, LLM, and Amazon Bedrock is a strong plus
- Interest in working with Football/sports data is also a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (German is a plus)
