Compliance and Legal Analyst
Compliance and Legal Analyst
Munich Re has been present in the Brazilian insurance market for over 30 years. With the reinsurance market opening in April 2008, we were the first foreign reinsurer to be registered as a local company, consolidating our operation and becoming one of the leaders in the Brazilian reinsurance industry.
Compliance with applicable laws and internal standards is binding for all Munich Re employees. To ensure compliant conduct, Group-wide minimum compliance requirements were created, namely Compliance Management System (CMS), a methodological framework for the structured implementation of the early warning, risk control, advisory, and monitoring functions within Munich Re. The local Legal and Compliance function at Munich Re acts as business partner and trusted advisor to support steering of Group based on adequate and structure information.
Based in São Paulo and reporting to the Legal and Compliance Officer for Latam, the Legal and Compliance Analyst will focus on the mitigation of compliance risks and ensuring appropriate compliance with all necessary laws and regulations relevant to Munich Re in Brasil, Mexico and Colombia in a proactive and risk based manner.
