YOUR TASKS

  • Support Knorr-Bremse Group Compliance in design, implementation, administration and continuous improvement of measures, processes, and controls to meet legal and internal requirements of Knorr-Bremse Compliance Program. You are overall accountable for the implementation of relevant group requirements in your area of responsibility
  • Support the regional and the local management in providing adequate tone from the top and cascading messages into the business
  • Advising Compliance colleagues and business partners in Germany in identifying and effectively mitigating compliance risks, maintaining and embedding group policies and guidance, influencing local business policies to ensure relevant group compliance requirements are adequately reflected
  • Ensure and assess appropriate compliance controls are in place within our businesses in Germany. Providing expertise on internal controls to mitigate non-compliance with regulatory requirements related to compliance risks
  • Enabling and supporting Compliance colleagues and business partners in Germany to provide high quality advice and challenge while supporting the business in managing compliance risks
  • Delivering training and/or targeted communications to meet identified compliance requirement needs regionally and locally
  • Support execution of Business Partner Due Diligence in accordance with the established Business Partner Processes and Guidelines of Knorr-Bremse Group Compliance
  • Support internal investigations and compliance projects and working collaboratively with the management and business partners as well as with experts in compliance, legal, risk and audit as well other corporate functions to ensure an aligned and efficient approach
  • Conduct local reviews and compile statistics and KPI with regards to the effectiveness of the Knorr-Bremse Group Compliance Program

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Economics, Law or similar specialization is beneficial. International experience is desired
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, out of which 3 years of operational experience in the field of Compliance or Risk Management. Certifications such as Certified Compliance Professional are beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal communication, intercultural collaboration, change and project management, presentation/moderation action, orientation/problem solving skills
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, trust and accountability and assertiveness
  • Solid degree of flexibility, e.g., willingness to travel or situational adaptability
  • Strong command of MS office skills and ability to adapt new technologies
  • German and English (business fluent), any other language is beneficial
