The Business Development team is a client-facing business unit for servicing Life and Health insurers in the versatile, exciting and highly-developed geographical area of Continental Europe. The team is responsible for developing new primary insurance products together with and for our clients, managing strategic business initiatives and driving innovation and trend topics in Life and Health insurance.
To complement our team we are looking for you, an enthusiastic and motivated individual who wants to contribute to the success of the themes and the unit.
Your Job
- Developing innovative Life, Disability and Health insurance products within our region
- Transferring product ideas into implementation concepts and assuring timely go-to-market through effective project management
- Identifying optimal markets, target groups, benefit triggers, sales channels and marketing approaches for new products
- Analysing market and client data in order to improve product terms and generate new business ideas
- Leading innovation workshops and projects for generating and executing optimal solutions with regard to product design, tariffs and smart and automated processes
- Establishing a network of insurance contacts in relevant markets (incl. cedents, brokers, rating agencies, start-ups, TPAs, etc.)
- Supporting Client Management in their sales and marketing activities (product pitches, market events, Munich Re events, marketing material)
- Managing projects across teams within the business unit of Life/Health
- Supporting our virtual regional innovation team across Europe to identify and analyse relevant global and tech trends and turn them into new business opportunities across markets (up to 50%, to be decided)
Your Profile
- Degree in Mathematics, Economics or Business Administration
- Experience in Life, Disability or Health (re-)insurance
- Ideally experience in the product development of a Life/Health primary insurer
- Very good project management and innovation skills
- Outstanding analytical, methodical and conceptual skills
- High level of commitment, team spirit and an integrative personality
- Excellent written and spoken language proficiency in English and German. Additional European languages (French/Dutch) would be an advantage
- Full command of Office tools
- Willingness to travel
