In your new role as Data Migration Lead (f/m/d) you will lead and manage the data migration project workstream in a large business transformation program primarily focusing on SAP.
You will be accountable for a successful end-to-end data analysis, data transformation and migration.
You will lead project managers technically who coordinate data migration activities for one or several companies and releases as well as manage the relationships to external providers and software companies.
You will manage stakeholder relationships, critical dependencies, commercial viability and the full budgeting process for the mentioned activities.
You will define, evolve and communicate an effective set-up for planning and tracking of the end-to-end data migration process by ensuring alignment with program standards, business and IT teams in- and outside of the program, as well as service providers.
You will oversee all activities including kick-offs, workshops, status meetings, ad-hoc updates, working sessions to achieve successful test cycles and a final migration.
Additionally, you will act as the responsible contact person and reliable interface between customers, the project team, and our key account managers for the various Siemens business types.
You act as a sales channel for Shared Services to offer additional services and generate new business opportunities.
What you need to make real what matters.
The foundation of your success is a completed degree in economics, business informatics, a similar field, or a comparable qualification.
You also have many years of professional experience as a project manager/coordinator working with different business/IT groups across multiple geographies and time zones
You also gained several years of experience in large transformation projects with a complex matrix organization and stakeholder landscape.
You have experience in managing teams across different continents and time zones.
You have good knowledge in at least one of the common migration tools, such as LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, or similar tools.
You have gained cross-module SAP knowledge, e.g. in finance and logistics.
Your excellent analytical and conceptual skills, your results and customer-orientation, as well as your strong communication and presentation skills distinguish you.
You also bring experience in people management/stakeholder management (customers, suppliers, managers, and colleagues) with extensive experience in communicating with customer representatives and solving problems.
Proven project successes and references distinguish you.
You enjoy business trips, but virtual project management is also part of your daily work.
Fluent in German and English to complete your profile.
