Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.
- International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Development Lead E-commerce / Remote Device Management Portal, you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
- In your position, you will take responsibility and coordinate the technical development of an end-to-end solution in the area of eCommerce, Remote Device and Subscription Management over the entire lifecycle.
- You work with the Product Owner to break down complex requirements into technical tasks and manage the prioritization of the backlog.
- You will be responsible for managing, guiding and involving internal and external developers and organizing solution releases.
- You manage system integrations including CRM, ERP, payment gateways and device management systems to ensure seamless data flow and platform interoperability.
- In addition, you will drive solution designs and development, including proof of concepts and prototyping, and collaborate with the solution architect to design, build and execute solution functionality.
- Conduct code reviews, manage version control and enforce coding standards and best practices to ensure high code quality and reliability.
- Resolve technical defects and proactively suggest system improvements to improve platform stability, maintainability and scalability.
- You participate in Tier 3 solution support activities, including incident management and the assessment and deployment of application upgrades and patches.
- You document solution specifications and help create manuals for operational support during technical implementation.
- Last but not least, you work closely with the IT infrastructure and security teams in the implementation of security protocols, robust monitoring and alerting systems.
Profil
- Education: completed university studies in information technology or a comparable qualification
- Experience and Knowledge: several years of professional experience in software development and architecture in larger companies; solid experience in the development of SAP Customer Experience solutions, especially SAP Commerce Cloud. In addition, solid experience in interface development and state-of-the-art web service technologies (REST, RESToDATA, SOAP, jSON). In addition, you have experience in cross-application data modeling as well as in process integration technologies (e.g. SAP CPI) and authentication methods; knowledge of integrated experience platforms, frameworks and technologies (SpringBoot, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript) round off your profile
- Personality and Working Practice: high degree of initiative and ability to work independently. Proactive communication style, enjoy working in virtual teams, committed and convincing appearance and good presentation skills. Structured, conceptual and analytical thinking
- Languages: very good communication skills in written and spoken English and German
