Role Overview:

My client is seeking a passionate and competent Financial Controller (m/f/d) to join their team in Munich. This role is crucial for supporting and advising their valued clients, providing essential financial insights, and ensuring the smooth operation of their financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and analyze sales reports to evaluate company performance
• Develop, optimize, and maintain reporting and analysis tools for effective data visualization
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements by providing relevant financial data
• Prepare and analyze OPEX for the cluster and manage contract controlling
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
• Support and guide payroll processing and internal accounting in close cooperation with the HR department
• Collaborate with various business partners, including sales, marketing, quality, and HR

Requirements

• Education, university degree, or equivalent qualification in business administration, economics, accounting, or a comparable field
• Experience in controlling and finance within an international (sales) organization, ideally in the pharmaceutical/medical technology industry
• In-depth knowledge of financial processes and experience working with relevant interfaces and management levels
• Profound knowledge in the preparation and interpretation of financial reports and analyses
• Ideally, good expertise in payroll accounting, social security, and income tax law
• Proficiency in IT systems, particularly the MS Office suite (Excel & Access)
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex data and derive relevant business insights
• Strong communication skills and team spirit to effectively collaborate with different departments
