Head of CF R 5 4 1 - Financial Value Flow and Projects & SHERPA X P2P (f/m/d)

CF R 5 4 is responsible for standardizing and ensuring quality in the value flow of ERP systems. We specify requirements and design solutions for accounting processes in ERP systems with Siemens-wide relevance.
As part of this responsibility, a transformation project named SHERPA X has been initiated to develop and roll out a uniform financial solution based on SAP S/4HANA technology.
You can become part of the expert team that handles all aspects of accounting and controlling relevant to Siemens and defines the future standard of process mapping in SAP S/4HANA systems at the end-to-end process level.
What part will you play?

• Serve as the overall responsible team leader of CF R 5 4 1, manage personnel, foster a positive work environment, motivation, collaboration, and personal development
• Act as the primary contact for process optimizations concerning value flow and integration into accounting and its tools for ICC and HR integration.
• Co-host the CFP (Council Financial Processes)
• Lead a (sub-) process in the SHERPA X transformation program in the Procure to Pay (P2P) area
• Define accounting and procurement standards within your area of responsibility and represent this governance to partners
• Represent the "business", end-user in the project, define requirements, and create user stories with your team for other teams
• Decide on functionality to be included in the product and its prioritization, thus managing the "product backlog" defined by Agile
• Responsible for implementing, further developing, and changing tools and processes as CPO for change requests in your area of responsibility
• Plan, execute, coordinate, and control projects in the accounting area, set milestones, perform goal achievement controls, and risk analyses
• Manage Organizational Change Management (OCM) for the area of responsibility in the SHERPA X program
• Interface between requesting departments, the Steering Committee, and project participants, inform about project progress, coordinate milestones, and communicate feedback in both directions
• Support central and regional departments in accounting, reporting, and controlling for procedural questions and their representation in ERP systems
• You communicate with Siemens parties, service providers, external partners, etc., at various hierarchical levels and can demonstrate your excellent communication skills in the process

What you need to make real what matters.

• A degree in business studies or similar
• Long-term operational experience in accounting and supply chain management, including representation in ERP systems, ideally at a multinational company
• Experience in a leading role in an S/4HANA implementation project
• Leadership experience: You have previously led teams and are capable of motivating your team and driving your team to achieve high performance
• Technical understanding of S/4HANA and its capabilities and functionalities in areas such as SD (Sales & Distribution) and/or MM (Materials Management)
• Strong communication skills in English, confident and assertive; additional languages, such as German, are advantageous
• Ability to develop and articulate concepts in English that are understood by both business users and IT
• Experience with tool-supported project management and agile working methods
• Experience working with international teams and international management
