Head of Events & Merchandising (f/m/d)

Aufgaben

Event Strategy & Planning: Develop a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the organization’s brand and business goals. Lead the planning and execution of corporate events, webinars, and other promotional activities
Merchandising Innovation: Lead the merchandising team in designing, producing, and distributing branded merchandise. Develop innovative merchandising strategies that enhance brand presence and resonate with target audiences
Vendor & Partner Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners. Manage logistics to ensure cost-effective and high-quality event and merchandise delivery
Budget Management & Financial Oversight: Manage the budgeting process for events and merchandising activities. Monitor expenses and ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the other Creative and Publishing Hub sub-functions and the Marketing Business Partners to ensure a cohesive approach to events and merchandising. Provide event-related insights and support for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
Innovation & Trends: Stay current with industry trends and innovations in event management and merchandising. Implement new ideas and technologies to enhance event experiences and merchandising effectiveness
Performance Measurement & Reporting: Define KPIs for events and merchandising activities. Regularly assess performance and effectiveness, providing detailed reports and actionable insights
Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing team. Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence, ensuring continuous professional development and growth

Qualifikationen

University degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least five years of experience in event management and merchandising
Functional experience in leadership roles and team management abilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration
Proven experience in planning and executing large-scale events and promotional activities.
Strong understanding of merchandising strategies and brand management
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strategic approach to vendor management
Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in event management software and tools
Business fluent in German and English
