About ITM
ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a remote-based or hybrid working model in Garching as soon as possible
Head of Global Program Management (f/m/d)
Your role
- Line management and creation of the group of global program managers and program operation directors
- Leading the evolution and harmonization of global project management tools and methodology
- Driveing cross-functional program and project teams, in cooperation with relevant line functions
- Working with the program team to set up the IDP to include program budget and resource planning
- Defining the interdependent sub-team deliverables aligned with the IDP and ensures the delivery of program milestones within the agreed parameters
- Providing a central coordinating role for the development of drug products
- Taking ownership of the program plan and Gantt chart development to ensure optimal delivery of the projects
- Responsibility for ensuring that practices and processes are consistent across the portfolio
- Working closely with PMO (Project Management Organization) to ensure adherence to PMO processes particularly around stage gates and governance
- Matrix responsibility for documenting the functional activities of the project team
- Coordinating the preparation of governance documents and presentations and prepares for phase transitions/tollgates in collaboration with the Program Lead
- Supporting the Program Lead on core team meetings including: agendas, slide decks, minutes, decisions, and moderating meetings when required
- Identifing risks/opportunities for the program and implements appropriate management/ development steps
Your profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science; certification in Project Management; PhD, MBA, PharmD or MD is a plus
- 10+ years diverse experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry
- Understanding and experience of working within several functional areas such as clinical, preclinical, CMC or regulatory affairs, as well as different global development phases (pre-POC, post-POC, Phase II-III, filing, launch)
- Proactive working style and ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment (prioritization and multitasking)
- Problem solving and decision-making skills; demonstrated ability to drive initiatives, solve issues (conflict management and facilitation skills), anticipate problems and achieve objectives, while keeping an eye on the big picture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking and stakeholder management skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with different departments and external customers/contractors
- Strong experience in facilitating project team meetings and decision making while ensuring alignment with internal/external stakeholders
- Fluent in English, knowledge in German or other languages is a plus
