Within the department Economics, Sustainability, and Public Affairs, team Economics supports the board of management in strategic decisions and offers group-wide services. The team elaborates positions on relevant topics and trends from the areas economics, politics, and society and analyses insurance market data.
Your Job
● Support the team in economic analyses (research, project work, publications, etc.)
● Support the team in insurance market analyses (gather, analyse, and visualise insurance market data, forecast premium growth, etc.)
● Own project: Research your own topic from various areas of interest, such as macroeconomics, economic policy or insurance markets
Your Profile
● Student of economics or related fields like econometrics (not business administration), preferably at Master’s level, with a solid understanding of macroeconomics and economic policy
● Foundational statistical knowledge is a prerequisite, R, Python or Power BI skills are a plus
● Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools, particularly Excel® and PowerPoint®
● Good command of English, German is a plus
Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit.
