In the division Reinsurance Controlling (RIC), the responsibilities of controlling and management reporting are bundled together to ensure a uniform controlling process. RIC advises the Reinsurance Committee (RC), RI-CEO and the RI-CFO in respect of the current economics of the Reinsurance Segment and proper allocation of resources.
RIC1.4 acts as the Global Process Owner for expenses, overseeing budgeting, cost allocation processes, and subsequent reporting both internally and externally. RIC1.4.4 is specifically responsible for providing the relevant data to steer the IT expenses and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and IFRS standards related to IT financials. This includes managing all IT-related closing processes including intercompany and tax-related matters across all global SSOs of IT.
We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a strong operational mindset to join our team as an IT Controller.
YOUR JOB

  • Support IT management in overseeing day-to-day expense budgets for service companies e.g. management of master data, handling of expense allocation keys in SAP CO, ensure smooth integration for feeding systems for e.g. staff bookings and purchase orders
  • Take charge of the entire accrual process incl. coordinating with relevant teams such as accounting and audits
  • Track and assess the performance and progress of IT application development projects
  • Contribute to the automation and digitalization of systems, tools, interfaces and processes to enhance the efficiency of cost accounting
  • Participate in cross-divisional projects focused on profitability and cost development.

YOUR PROFILE

  • A university degree or comparable professional training in Economics/Accounting or Information Technologies
  • Professional experience in finance/accounting/controlling; additional experience in IT and/or taxation considered a valuable asset
  • Proficient in SAP/CO, SAP BW, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communicator, able to simplify complex topics and engage with diverse international teams
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and skilled at managing priorities while delivering value to clients
  • Fluent in business English; proficiency in German (at least intermediate level) is preferred.
