From April to September 2025, the Marketing Automation Specialist role at Allianz Direct, available due to maternity leave, demands strong technical project management skills, flexibility, and a proactive attitude to handle predefined projects, support the CRM Team, and manage ad hoc requests in a dynamic environment.

Ad Interim - Marketing Automation Specialist - Temporarily - April - September 2025

Working at an online insurer means working with large volumes of valuable (customer) data, innovative systems, platforms, and, most importantly, uncharted territory with endless opportunities! Especially now, with a continuous influx of new tools (AI, Data, and Automation). The Marketing Automation Specialist identifies these opportunities, explores possibilities (together with other teams at Allianz Direct), and most importantly: executes projects from start to finish.

Due to maternity leave, the position of Marketing Automation Specialist will be available from April to September 2025. (Technical) project management skills are required, as the Marketing Automation Specialist will take on several predefined projects. Handling ad hoc requests and providing support to the CRM Team are part of the day-to-day business, so a flexible work attitude and a can-do mentality are essential.

Team & Way of Working
The Marketing Automation Specialist is part of the Global CRM Squad (14 FTE) and the local Marketing & Sales team, which consists of Brand, Content, Social Media, Retention, and (online) Sales Experts. You will also collaborate closely with international Data, MarTech, and Platform teams, depending on the project you’re working on. At Allianz Direct, we work in an agile way, and experience with this way of working is a plus.

Your Profile

To fulfill this position from April to September 2025 (exact start date to be discussed), you will need these requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Availability of at least 24 hours per week (32 would be ideal)
  • 1 to 2 days of office presence in Rotterdam
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a must
  • Proven knowledge and experience with data, SQL, and relational data models
  • A track record in omnichannel marketing automation (campaigns)
  • Experience with Databricks and Power BI is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset
  • Project management skills, ideally for technical implementation/migration projects
  • Preferably experience with an agile way of working
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Jira
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English
