Marketing Reporting Analyst - Germany

Your mission
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Reporting Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collect, consolidate, and analyze marketing data from various sources, create insightful reports and visualizations, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize marketing strategies. You will also be responsible for automating data collection processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
A key aspect of this role involves collaborating with local marketing managers across Europe to meet specific data needs, delivering both a consolidated view of marketing performance across the region and detailed country-specific breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Automation
- Gather and consolidate marketing data from manual and disparate sources, including events, PR, direct marketing, and digital campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to automate data collation and reporting using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Implement and maintain automated solutions to streamline data processes and improve reporting efficiency.
Reporting and Visualization
- Develop clear, visually compelling dashboards and reports that showcase key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing insights.
- Present data-driven narratives that highlight the impact of marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Regional and Country-Specific Analysis
- Create comprehensive reports that provide a consolidated view of marketing performance across Europe.
- Deliver detailed country-specific breakdowns to highlight individual market contributions and identify localized opportunities.
Collaboration with Local Marketing Teams
- Work closely with local marketing managers across Europe to understand their unique data needs and deliver tailored reports.
- Act as a central point of contact for regional data consolidation and ensure consistent reporting standards across countries.
Analysis and Insights
- Analyze marketing performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Benchmark performance metrics against industry standards and provide actionable recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing data aligns with broader business goals.
- Present insights and recommendations to marketing leaders and stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
Your profile
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, reporting, or a similar role.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and experience with automation tools or techniques.
Analytical Skills
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
Marketing Knowledge
- Familiarity with evaluating metrics across various marketing channels, including events, PR, direct marketing, and digital campaigns.
Collaboration
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional and international teams, managing multiple stakeholders with diverse needs.
Communication
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate data and insights to stakeholders.
Attention to Detail
- High level of accuracy and consistency in data handling and reporting.
Problem-Solving
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in data processes and implement solutions to improve workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with marketing automation platforms or CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages.
- Understanding of key marketing benchmarks and metrics.
- English C1, German a plus.
Preferred Education
- A degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field is highly desirable.
