As IT Operations/IT Security Manager, you will ensure a secure, efficient, and compliant IT environment by overseeing IT operations, security management, and strategic sourcing in accordance with ISO standards and IT governance frameworks.
Your Job
- Maintain and improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in compliance with ISO 27001 and TISAX
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and guidelines aligned with recognised industry standards and best practices (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 Type II)
- Serve as Lead Auditor, conducting security audits and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements
- Oversee SIEM operations, monitoring security incidents and mitigating emerging threats
- Manage the entire IT application lifecycle, focusing on stability, security, and regulatory compliance
- Optimise IT sourcing strategies by effectively selecting and managing vendors
- Collaborate with stakeholders, DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to enhance overall IT security and operational efficiency
- Lead and mentor IT security and operations teams, promoting ongoing training and security awareness initiatives
- Manage budget and vendor relationships to optimise IT sourcing and to secure reliable partnerships
- Drive continuous process improvement (e.g. ITIL, agile methods) to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
- Stay current with emerging technologies and security trends (e.g. Zero Trust, AI-driven security) to adapt strategies and keep the organisation future-ready
Your Profile
- Degree in IT, Cybersecurity or a related field
- Proven experience in IT operations, IT security, and ISMS maintenance
- Certification as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, cloud security, IT governance, risk management and frameworks like SOC 2 Type II
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams
- Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and vulnerability management
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance with data protection and industry standards
