Principal Consultant

Hobson Prior is seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as a Principal Consultant. This role involves working closely with clients from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, helping them understand pricing and reimbursement systems, and developing effective market access strategies. The ideal candidate should be ready to work in a team and be willing to take on challenges head-on.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients in understanding pricing and reimbursement systems and how they affect their value proposition.
• Develop market access strategies that are tailored to the client's needs.
• Prepare and support clients in scientific advice meetings.
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and colleagues to generate required evidence to support value proposition and dossier development.
• Provide guidance for clinical development, particularly from the payer/HTA perspective.
• Recommend pricing and contracting strategies that deliver maximum value for clients.

Requirements

• A master's degree in a medical science or health economics.
• Knowledge of European health care systems and the impact of changes in the market access landscape on clients' business.
• Experience in planning and generating payer evidence.
• A strong network in major European markets.
• Experience in developing and executing successful MA&P/HEOR strategies.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Fluency in German is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• A self-motivated individual with excellent intercultural skills.
