Job description
In your new role you will:
1. Responsible for sourcing activities and aim for company’s objective in optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through collaboration with production operations, planning and category management. Drive cost saving, improve supplier quality, and enhance supplier performance for direct material, indirect material, equipment, and spares.
2. Manage end to end supply chain activities to optimize inventory levels and avoid material shortages. Prioritize quality control and build strong relationship with suppliers while adhering to company’s policies and procedures.
3. Being a key project team member or leading project to ensure fulfill production ramp up target by coordinating requirements for additional material, equipment, consumables, and spares including develop and implement alternative source.
4. Maintain supply resilience and recovery management, identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to minimize the impact to operations. This involves working with cross-functional teams to assess the risks and impact of various events such as force majeure, supplier disruptions etc.
5. Monitor and track KPI performance related to cost, delivery, and quality. Utilize company system to generate data analysis and identify areas for improvement. Work with stakeholders and category managers to develop action plans to achieve targets, monitor progress and drive

Your profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management or Engineering
2. 5-10 years working experience in strategic or operational procurement role in any industries.
3. Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain, procurement best practices
4. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven and decision making.
5. Excellent in negotiation, project management and interpersonal skills
6. Ethical and compliance-oriented approach to procurement practices
7. Result oriented, initiative, and proactive working manner.
8. Work well under pressure and ability to work independently.
9. Good command of English both writing and verbal communication
