Field Application Engineer / Project Engineer E/E
Based in Munich or Nuremberg , Germany
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Field Application Engineer / Project Engineer for BDU (Battery Disconnect Unit), PDU and boost system applications for BEVs. As the key interface to our customers, you will develop and maintain long-term relationships with the engineering and purchasing departments of automotive OEMs in Germany and Europe. Your role will involve understanding their needs, representing Jason’s breakthrough technology, and driving new business opportunities.

You will have the responsibility to contribute to our future growth and success.
This position requires regular travel to customer locations.
Responsibilities:
· Provide technical customer support and manage technical projects.
· Develop and promote appropriate product concepts and solutions to meet customer needs.
· Lead technical discussions between customers and the R&D team.
· Coordinate with the R&D team to provide technical documentation and manage product modifications.
· Address new technical demands from customers and ensure responses within expected timelines.
· Participate in project launches and follow up from the acquisition phase to SOP.
· Oversee design reviews of prototypes and ensure timely delivery in line with project schedules.
· Monitor part robustness and validation testing (test plans, test progress, KPIs, etc.).
· Manage the APQP Grid and update all quality documents at each project milestone.
· Provide technical support to Sales for new business acquisitions.
· Organize technical training sessions for customers.
· Offer feedback to R&D and Marketing on technical trends and customer demands.
· Contribute to support activities, such as maintaining databases and producing technical papers.
· Collaborate with regional sales managers and business leaders to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Your profile
· Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
· 3+ years of practical experience in project engineering for automotive electronics.
· Experience in vehicle battery management or electronic control units in the automotive industry.
· Strong technical knowledge of electric vehicles.
· Customer-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize technical tasks based on market demands.
· Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
· Proactive, organized, creative, and committed to meeting deadlines and milestones.
