As a Project Manager at Sofico, you manage effective project implementation and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale projects with high business impact, while ensuring they remain within the defined scope, timeline, and budget. You will coordinate resources, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project delivery in collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Your responsibilities include:
Planning:
- Align with customer and define the best project approach, in line with the Sofico implementation methodology.
- Set-up project team and organize kick-offs.
- Define and document the project scope, time, cost, risks, stakeholders, roles and responsibilities in a Project Management Plan (PMP).
- Coordinate project plans and activities with customers.
Monitoring and Controlling:
- Manage resources and ensure correct team composition.
- Assign work packages to the team.
- Monitor progress, quality, and effort across all assigned activities.
- Track project tasks and maintain project activity logs.
- Align with the customer on customer workstream progress and ensure all workstream deliver timely for key milestones.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, maintaining risk and issue logs.
- Manage change requests and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Take corrective actions in case of deviations at Sofico or customer end and inform customers proactively.
- Oversee contracts and communication with external parties.
- Ensure adherence to the defined PM methodology and operational standards.
Communication:
- Define project communication plan.
- Communicate project requirements, support needs, and deliverables to customers.
- Prepare status and progress reports.
- Resolve issues related to customer collaboration.
- Provide additional project-related information as requested.
Escalation:
- Escalate project risks that may impact success, budget, or timeline.
- Escalate unresolved issues with customers.
- Participate in steering committee meetings and change advisory board meetings.
Organizational and Project Results:
- Set up project governance model together with customer PM.
- Organize and lead project and team meetings.
- Maintain structured project files and documentation.
- Hand over project results to customers for acceptance.
- Take accountability for customer billing - in line with contractual agreements and provide input for revenue forecast and recognition.
Post-Go-Live:
- Organize project hypercare and transition to support organization.
- Take lessons learned from the project and reflect these in PM community and methodology improvements.
- Perform project closing.
Your Skills and Interest:
You excel at organizing and planning, keeping an overview of multiple projects and modules at various stages of implementation. Communication and stakeholder management is a strength, and you're a strategic thinker with advanced leadership and negotiation skills.
What else is expected:
- Business fluent in German and English.
- Several years proven experience in project management for complex software implementations, preferably in ERP software implementation or IT services.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management and change management.
- Great interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to assess challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders efficiently.
