Who will you be joining?
Group Taxation (GTAX) is the tax department of Allianz SE, the listed parent company of Allianz Group. GTAX supports the Board of Management to ensure high quality and efficient tax reporting and tax compliance and represents the company against external authorities. With our diverse team of more than 30 tax advisors, lawyers and senior experts we enable sustainable growth by providing tax advice to senior management, performing group wide tax planning and engaging in strategic projects. GTAX sets group wide tax standards, steers and coordinates the local tax functions to ensure effective tax risk management and to safeguard Allianz reputation as a responsible tax payer. In GTAX we constantly strive for benchmark performance and best practice.
GTAX operates in an international environment with continuous touchpoints with our operating entities, tax authorities, senior managers and C-level stakeholders. In your full-time role as a tax expert in the Transfer Pricing team, GTAX is responsible for:
- Providing and enforcing transfer pricing standards and guidelines
- Ensuring consistent transfer pricing and branch allocation concepts within the group
- Providing master-files as basis for uniform and consistent documentation approach for the Group
- Providing advice and support for transfer pricing topics and issuesSteering and managing transfer pricing disputes incl. MAP and APA
How can you make an impact?
You will:
- Set and enforce standards and guidelines regarding group-internal dealings and branch allocations
- Train and coordinate Transfer Pricing Designees globally on transfer pricing requirements
- Evaluate German tax developments as well as international developments on transfer pricing
- Provide advice on business decisions regarding compliance with transfer pricing requirements for group-internal dealings and branch allocations
- Identify transfer pricing tax risks and initiate mitigation measures
- Efficient handling of German tax audit queries and supporting tax controversies globally on transfer pricing matters
- Provide master-file and local file templates for transfer pricing documentation to operating entities globally
- Perform internal quality reviews to ensure compliance with group-internal and legal documentation requirement
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration / economics, taxation or law (or other related field)
- Certified tax advisor
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Detailed knowledge in MS Office and SAP
- Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge in Transfer Pricing
- 6+ years prior experience as tax advisor or inhouse tax manager
- Tax advisory experience both on national and international level
- Project management
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with AI solutions and automatization of tax processes
- Team player
