Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Software Engineer (m/f/d) for our client in the field of aerospace industry at the Munich area.
The Software Engineer is responsible for the development of our existing and new aeronautical products. As part of the software development team and in collaboration with project management the Software Engineer is involved in software development, requirements engineering, software architecture decisions as well as unit testing. Depending on the project the Software Engineer is in exchange with other departments like software test, sustaining or production. Integrating software and hardware from internal and external suppliers can be a part of the daily work as well as participation in IP networking topics. Depending on expertise and personal preference the Software Engineer is involved in leading the development of one or more software modules.
Your responsibilities:
Develop software, implement unit tests, and maintain both existing and new software components.
Assist in defining software requirements and architecture.
Engage in the integration of software and hardware from both internal and external suppliers.
Maintain or enhance existing build environments.
Maintain or enhance Linux operating system configurations.
Document both requirements and implementation details.
Continuously contribute to the improvement of established processes.

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in computer sciences or another comparable study program, or a successfully completed training in a comparable IT profession
First professional experience in object-oriented software development would be a plus
Very good knowledge of C programming language
Good knowlegde with Qt Framework
Experience in using software version control tools
Experience with Linux and scripting languages, e.g. Bash
Experience in defining software requirements
Experience in using third-party and open-source libraries
Knowledge of programming languages for GUI development
IP network skills
Ability to deal with full-stack problems
Knowledge of bug tracking tools
Knowledge of the V model and DO-178 standard would be a plus
Strong written and verbal Englisch communication skills
