Your Tasks

• Support our data collection, annotation, and analysis web platform (AI SoundLab) development team
• Agile development of AI SoundLab platform features and resolving bugs
• Implementation of backend functionality using the Django web framework based on requirements and specifications
• Creation and maintenance of automated unit and integration tests to increase test coverage and ensure that quality goals are achieved
• Code reviews and continuous optimization of the existing code base (performance, responsiveness, refactoring)
• Performing manual tests
• Building, deploying, and managing the web platform by applying DevOps principles and best practices

Your Profile

• Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent degree
• Excellent knowledge of Python (minimum of 2 years of work experience)
• Experience with pytest, unittest or similar libraries to write automated tests
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Ideally, experience with Django REST framework
• Experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL, or any other SQL based DB)
• Knowledge of Linux (shell/command line, package management, administration, security)
• Comfortable with source code management (e.g. Git)
• Experience with DevOps principles and best practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, containerization, and orchestration, monitoring and logging)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies (e.g. Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud computing and deployment (e.g. Hetzner, AWS)
• Basic understanding of web/frontend concepts, build tools, and package managers (e.g. npm)
• Knowledge of web servers (e.g. nginx) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS)
• Plus: Knowledge of Keycloak Identity Access Management System
• Plus: Knowledge of MQTT protocol, message broker (e.g. Eclipse Mosquitto)
• Plus: Knowledge of IT Security
• Plus: Basic knowledge of machine learning
• Plus: Basic knowledge of audio/media technology
• Clean code mindset
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• You work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner
• Desire to apply what has been learned and develop further
• Proficiency in written/spoken English
• Plus: German language skills
