Your Mission - Building strong, collaborative partnerships that drive innovation, align supplier capabilities with business goals, and ensure seamless delivery of our carbon management platform.
Your Role - As a Supplier Engagement Specialist you will focus on building strong and stable relationships with our suppliers. As part of our Supplier Engagement Team, you'll play a pivotal role in a fast-paced tech startup, fostering collaboration and ensuring our partners are empowered to deliver exceptional results. By aligning supplier capabilities with our strategic goals, you'll help drive operational excellence, unlock growth opportunities, and contribute to a sustainable future. Your tasks

  • Take ownership of supplier projects, managing supplier relationships from onboarding through to the completion of data integration (primary data collection)
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster positive collaboration with global suppliers and partners, ensuring long-term engagement
  • Monitor and analyze supplier data performance, quickly addressing issues and aligning supplier activities with business goals
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize supplier engagement, contributing to the development of best practices in supplier management for both suppliers and customers
  • Stay informed about industry trends, compliance policies, and regulatory changes that impact suppliers
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support Customer Success Managers, Sustainability Experts, Product Managers and Solution Engineers in data mapping and integration efforts

Your profile

  • University degree in Business Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sustainability, or a related field
  • Experience in project management or customer-facing roles within relevant sectors, ideally including Software as a Service (SaaS) environments
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory to effectively communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Strong project management skills, including hands-on experience hosting webinars, leading onboarding efforts, managing complex projects with tight deadlines, and fostering partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and dynamics in supplier relationships, especially between suppliers and large corporate clients
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
  • Interest in learning about industry regulations, legal requirements and best practices for suppliers, with a focus on staying informed of evolving compliance standards
  • A supportive team player, with a proactive approach and a self-driven work attitude, capable of working in the rapidly changing start-up environment
  • Excited to join our diverse and international team in Munich, Berlin or remotely and willing to travel to the office on a regular basis
